The School of Development and Strategic Studies is committed to providing students with a multi-disciplinary, inter-disciplinary and innovative curriculum that equips them with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to succeed in a complex, dynamic and globalised world as well as the ethical values to help them make responsible choices in their careers and as active citizens.
Broadly, our various diploma and undergraduate programmes in areas as diverse as international relations, communication, gender studies, global studies, disaster management, community development and social work are aimed at producing well-rounded graduates with essential critical thinking and problem-solving skills that enable them to become doers, thinkers and leaders in addressing a wide range of contemporary global, regional and national challenges.
